Added over 7 years ago: this the old design that is not used.
Its changed and final now the design.
I have ordered some parts at marco's for my version of the remake of the Data East version. A ngg slamramp and the right spiderman ramp.
So when i get te parts i can check if everything is correct in my design.
Brigitte is already working on the graphics.
I also found a Starwars donor.
I like the playfield but I think you should remove the ugly guy in the middle and put Darth Vader there.
Quoted from pinballrockstar:Awesome wil !
Another crazy idea and i love it.
thanks, its a fast one this time ready end july this year.
Quoted from solarvalue:I like the playfield but I think you should remove the ugly guy in the middle and put Darth Vader there.
i had to choose between darth and the emperer, i choose the last one because darth is already on the slingshot.
And everything is final printing is already starting.
Love your ambition, incredible! What is your process for creating the playfield, is the art an overlay? Did you CNC cut it?
Its a handmade playfield drilled by hand with glos polymeer sticker overlay and on top a special mix of glas epoxy to flatten out the playfieldand to make make it shine.
And on top (not yet) a macralon transparant sticker to protect.
The inserts are on the playfield but also on the sticker printed (fake) for the best results.
You need to clean up that speaker panel. Maybe new speaker grills and a panel decal of space. It looks so clean everywhere else. Nice job .

Iám not shure what to do.
I don't like graphics on it because the backbox of a Data East is already hi and make the looks of it higher.
I think i leave it as it is for now.
Quoted from oldskool1969:Not a fan of Star Wars, but , this is a really cool thread Dude. Nice
Thanks.
Quoted from pinballrockstar:Hahaha super Wil , you are awesome!
Really like the artwork,it could be a Stern?!
Thanks Guy's , Can't wait to see how Sterns version looks like.
I hope the "raptor pit kicker" deflector shield down mode to open the deathstar makes it in the Stern version
Quoted from swinks:somehow missed this thread, incredible work Wil, no following
Thanks.
There aint mutch followers in this tread, they don't like Starwars or my version
Wow...that looks awesome!
Looks like it will play a hell of a lot better than the original data east version.
Looking forward to seeing a video.

Before the 40 year anniversary of Starwars i hope to show a video of the 100% finished machine.
I got a lot of questions is it for sale, how many do you make.
NO its NOT for sale and i only make one for myself.
Why... because its not licensed.
In november it wil be on te Dutch DPO Expo, and i do a seminar.
Then it wil vanish in my private gameroom forever just like my Mediëval Castle.
Cool project, enjoying watching it, thanks for posting up.
I don't think I've seen it in the thread, but is there some point when the lcd is displaying the fill in for the translite image? So it basically just looks like one big image, might be hard/impossible to match the color but would look cool.
Quoted from pinballwil:After some lightbulp test, this is the final backbox lightning color.
There some screensavers in development with the same background and moving 3d models from Starwars.
But there is stil the black bar from the display that blacks out the translite round de display.
maybe it looks awful.
