I've had almost as many SCs over the years as you have made me shooter rods! I remember combo lock rods having been made and already available for purchase--Tom Wible is out of the business, though. Can you make one of those?

Then drill out the dial, no?

Get on eBay and look for "lock dial." Lots to see there.

There were just dials.
