I just picked up a Demolition man that was rescued from a fire, but the backbox took a lot of heat damage, and the translite and speaker panel melted.

If anyone has a translite or speaker panel available, let me know

Thanks

Guessing you've seen it at Marco but like me can't justify the price?

I was looking for one of these a few weeks ago, and I found some with one of the Europe sellers. I am not sure which one but the sellers has a pretty good selection of speaker panels.

Pretty much. $140 a little excessive for a simple piece of plastic, especially when I'm not really sure if it's one of the crummy quality repros or not.

They were still all out of stock when I checked a few days ago.

Yeah I wondered that too, and I don't really "need" one. Mine is just not perfectly flat, it's caved in in front of the DMD cutout, no idea how that would happen. I'd pick up a new one if they were around $40.00, but that's a pipe dream I guess.

I wonder if you could heat it and flatten it like you can with playfield plastics.

The one I have is so completely warped and melted that I can't even try that with it.

You might already know, but the Repro is back in stock at Pinball Center, about $40.00 USD. However something wacky is going on with their shipping to the States, I've ordered from them in the past and the shipping rates were reasonable. Not sure if they are even shipping here currently.

Yeah, I already contacted them about it. They ceased all shipping options to the US, and have no plans to ship to the US in the future.

Well, I thought I was all set with a translite, but apparently not. The one I bought from someone finally arrived and had a hole cut out of it for some strange reason.

So, I'm still looking for a translite. If anyone has one available, let me know

As for the speaker panel, I think I found someone willing to ship it, so hopefully that goes better than the translite deal.

Still looking for a decent translite.
