Item description

Looking for a cabinet body, backbox, lockbar, and backglass for a Bally City Slicker.

I just picked up a game that had taken a hard fall off a truck at some point. The backglass was destroyed, the backbox was obliterated, and the cabinet body is in multiple pieces.

It was in much worse shape than the ad indicated, unfortunately. Portions of the backbox/cabinet are completely missing, so not much chance in simply gluing back together.

So, I thought I would do my due diligence before resorting to parting it out (which I hate to do) and see if anyone has these pieces.

Not much left of the backbox.

Just a corner of the cab body that's visible through the plastic. The plastic is what's mostly holding it together at this point.

Can you post more pics? I saw that ad too and thought it might be a fun project.

Hardly worth using a handtruck for that head!

Where the hell was this posted?? That’s rough! I’d say hold onto it for the parts to come up. I can also connect you with a local woodworker who’s making me a new cab. Worst case I’d offer buy it from you and build the cab myself if it comes to that!

I thought so too. Unfortunately, the body cabinet damage wasn't visible in the photos, so that was a surprise. I haven't unwrapped it yet for a closer inspection yet. Not sure if I'll get to that tonight or not.

Thanks for offering--that might actually be useful for other projects I have. Unfortunately, there's a problem with building a cab from scratch with this one since decals/stencils don't seem to be available for Bally 6803 games.

What I was mainly looking for was an inexpensive 6803 project that I could use as a test bed. I don't think that will be this one, lol

Looks like the cab damage is mostly limited to the front panel.

Some playfield wear above the flippers and around the group of 4 long inserts near the middle.
