I have a pinball 2000 type vp cab and the display floats on the back of the playfield freeing up the backbox monitor to display the back glass. It had nothing to do with emulating pin2k. The display also is variable size since its reflected so you can have a 20 inch DMD showing of each game. It's really nice. I've built 3vpin cabs and this one is my favorite from a real pin2k cab with new monitors. I think the design of the pin2k makes sense for vpin concept too.
Quoted from Brtlkat:Why would anyone want the display to float on the Playfield? Pinball 2000 is not emulated yet.
