Quasi-scientific poll here hopefully. Please vote ONLY for title(s) that you would DEFINITELY purchase. (ie- if it were available now, you would be mailing a check)
For example, I might eventually buy these for several of my machines, but the only one I know I would for certain is MB.

Would love to see one done for IJ

#4 11 years ago

IJ would really benefit from it

#5 11 years ago

WWFRR

#6 11 years ago

Interesting that HS2 is on the list

#7 11 years ago

Scared Stiff

Quoted from DrainO:

That and T2 are included based on high production numbers.

#9 11 years ago

The Shadow....

#10 11 years ago

You know, it would just be kind of cool, for now, if the titles that are supposedly supported were in stock. What's the point of adding more titles when there apparently isn't even enough hw to keep afm color Dmd in stock?

That being said, I'd buy one for every machine I own.

I would say, for 10K you get get a really nice machine instead. But then, you've already owned them all.

#12 11 years ago

Is your collection not updated or are you saying you would purchase one today even though you don't own the machine.? Reason is that I'm hoping to avoid hypotheticals.
thanks

The reason I say the Shadow is because the last two Color DMD pins were Brian Eddy pins. I say finish the Eddy trifecta.

T R O N !!!

#15 11 years ago

Monster bash should be the next one

#16 11 years ago

I agree with MB, I was a bit disappointment with the second and third release titles that were announced.

#19 11 years ago

I voted sttng, getaway, white h2o and Titan

What I want is cftbl and scared stiff

#20 11 years ago

It's not in the list.....NGG all the way!

#21 11 years ago

TOTAN and MB.

The graphics has to be relatively simple to convert to color. No way TRON or LOTR will work.

NGG is a good idea.

#22 11 years ago

MB is the most worthy in my opinion.

#23 11 years ago

My IJ dmd is on its last leg. Im hopefully optimistic . Read that they pull names from a hat to decide what's next though.

#24 11 years ago

FishTales has animations well suited for color IMHO.

In conjunction, over 13000 produced so the numbers should helps its case.

I almost included FT in the poll. It was a toss-up between it and HS2. Nearly identical production numbers with HS2 slightly ahead in the rankings. But I agree the animations in FT would probably benefit more.

I would love to see TSPP in color.

+1 - Could you imagine how cool this would be? I'd put this behind MB if it was me. And who knows how many Stern made over the years, I'll bet it was a lot!

#27 11 years ago

It also seems that many FT have DMD issues for some reason so it would benefit from the ColorDMD in that respect. If you are going to replace a DMD why not spend twice as much to make it color???

#28 11 years ago

How in the world is the most obvious choice not on this list???? CV has the DMD located where you actually can see it as a player....and is a colorful game to begin with. This would be my vote, way ahead of anything else.

Doubt you could fit the color dmd panel in there as its longer wider and there's no extra space in the CV cabinet.

Randy Perlow addressed this issue specifically:

"One of the games which would most benefit from a full colour display is ironically the one in which the regular ColorDMD kit wouldn't work. Is there any way you could produce a kit for Cirqus Voltaire?

Randy: I really wish we had a good solution for CV, but so far we haven't found a display that fits the form factor required"

CV would make sense, it's too bad that they aren't able to do one. For my own selfish reasons I'd really like to see one for TSPP. Wh20 would be my second choice.

#33 11 years ago

I would pay a lot of money for an IJ colorDMD!

#34 11 years ago

Can you imagine IJ with the red, orange, yellow color combinations?!

You'd have to color it like the game's playfield. That would be incredible!

I would love to see a single screenshot for the top three. A preview if you will.

It's a great point Mark until they get the colour dmds in stock and at a level where one order doesnt renders it out of stock again, further hype for future titles is pointless. T2 I would buy though in a heart beat.

IJ
ToM
WH20

#44 11 years ago

MB and TOTAN a very close second.

#45 11 years ago

SS, IJ, TZ...

#46 11 years ago

Gotta be STTNG next. Love the dots in that game. Would love to see it color.

#48 11 years ago

Road show.

#49 11 years ago

I was whispering sweet nothings to my IJ just last weekend and it said that it would really like one of those new Color DMD things installed in it.
