    Best to mount them on the wiring harness not the boards themselves. But I'm guilty of doing that too.

    If you do it on the wiring harness just solder the wires to the connector pins and push them back into the connector housing. These displays often have little wings with holes. Use nylon ties to secure them to the wiring harness.
