Just got this pin, I hit the credit unit and game starts up but wont play (just dead), when this ball gets drained the game will start up on the first player like normal and works fine through out the balance of the game. Seems I have to drain the first ball every time before the game works?

Check the trough switch and the outhole switches and clean/adjust them first. The machine will act like that if it doesn't think the ball has been launched.
Thanks a lot, cleaned and now working!! another question is the game is set on free play, I would like to have it set for free ball if its do able on this game?, I have no manual or drawings. The game plays great and is fun.. think its a keeper for my collection.
Volley is only able to award a free game. It would require extensive rewiring to change it to award free balls instead.
