Hey all,
I have a Gottlieb Diamond Lady that has what they called a vitrigraph playfield. I understand that this means the art is sandwiched between two layers of Mylar or plastic. The unit overall is in excellent shape, but the Mylar is peeling badly near the ball launch. This is partly my fault bc I tried to clean it, but it was already coming up anyway. I cannot simply replace all Mylar on the field because it old take the art with it. I think I have to cut this part out and leave the remainder. Any tips on doing that? Do they make Mylar that is specially cut for ball launches or is this a custom job? If I just cut the bad stuff out, will the new edge start peeling?
