Quoted from Daredevil:Just got back from visiting the Seattle pinball museum so I thought I'd give a little report. It's a smallish place with about 30 or so machines, though about 5 of them were out of service. Which is understandable considering the people that run it both have full time jobs.
13 bucks gets you all you can play during operating hours as all the machines are set to free play. Well, all except one. they have an early production WOZ that they charge for. Not really sure why...
The machines are varied in era and there are lots of gems here to be sure. My only issue is that not all of the machines were in good playable order. There were about 3 where the flippers would stick in the up position, others that had uneven playfields, some with broken drop targets.
All in all I had fun, I like to support pinball and I even bought some swag. I just wished that the machines were in better playing order. If it's something cosmetic it's not a big deal, but when it affects gameplay its disappointing. I would've gladly paid double and have all the machines play well.
I had similar issues when I was there - unlevel tables, shakers that set off the tilt, machines out of order etc. The hours are very limited too - I think they are closed 3 days a week or something like that.
I second the recommendation for Full Tilt.
