Just joined the Quest wagon. I also suffer from motion sickness on many games, but so far, the Quest is doing fine.

Beat Saber gave me a little uneasy feeling the first time, but not the second.
VR SuperHot left me fine.

I understand about the difference in graphics between the Quest and Rift, but figured with the non-cord bonus, I'd go Quest (OK, bought it for my son).

The other deciding factor was that new tech for VR will be flooding the market soon, each one better than the next, so realistically, this is a 2 year endeavor before moving on.

Too bad there is only Pinball FX, I just don't care for their "playful" animation. Maybe I'll grab that link and then use the cord for a Rift pinball program.

Quoted from Viggin900:

I was saving up for the Oclus and days before I was about to buy it Zucherbeg announced you must have a facebook account to use it going forward. No thanks, I'm not into brain washing and ads.

Ugh, I can't stand Faceb00k. We like the Oculus and all, but 2023 will be the end of it for us I guess.

I can see a large revolt coming.

Quoted from Nokoro:

My wife got me an Occulus Quest 2 yesterday. This was my first substantive experience with VR. I can’t believe how immersive it is. I’ve been playing Echo VR and Walking Dead Saints and Sinners. Playing a horror video game in VR brings everything to a whole other level.
I was also considering getting Myst since I loved that game as a kid. Anyone have it, and does it hold up and translate well in the VR world.

Yup, first time I turned around and saw a zombie in Arizona Sunshine my heart shot through my chest!

Quoted from Nokoro:

I’ve now punched a wall once and my ceiling twice. I’m currently icing my hand. Mind the guardian barrier. It is easy to get carried away and forget it is there for your safety. Also, from now on, I’m not playing in my basement with the low ceilings.

It only takes once to remember
