We've had our HTC Vive for about a year and a half now, and while there is a definite wow factor with VR when you first get it, I've been pretty disappointed with the games that have been released to date. Most games are extremely shallow and have one objective.

I'd love to see a large game studio give us a truly immersive game that was created with VR in mind, and not bolted on to some existing game. I know Valve has some things coming in the future, but they're typically so slow that my VR headset will likely be out of date when it finally gets released.

I just re-read my last post, and it came out pretty negative. VR is pretty damn cool, and there are some fun games. Just wish there were more.

Quoted from epthegeek:

If you like platform/action games I'd really recommend 'Moss' - but wait for it to go on sale as it's pretty short for the price. Really cool game though.

That one does look pretty cool. I'll likely pick it up on the next sale.

Quoted from epthegeek:

Just played through the Room VR: Dark Matter today - It’s pretty fantastic. It’s only around 3 hours start to finish (faster if you are either a genius or use a lot of the hint system) but it’s on sale in the steam winter sale for 33% off and I’d absolutely recommend it if you like ‘escape room’ type games, or are familiar with the previous “The Room” games and enjoyed them. The quality is absolutely top-notch.

Another vote for The Room. Had a blast playing this one.
