Quoted from DRDAVE:

Just saw this applied to a VR pinball table:

Innovative but I'll still stick with the real thing vs the "box on your head" pinball.

Very cool! I am a VR enthusiast. A good way to combine hobbies . With the luxury of having my own games I would rather play the real thing. But fun to mess with.

Quoted from Oneangrymo:

I used to have one of those HTC vive pro.. the batman VR game was pretty cool, yet I still felt like there was screen door effect and pixels I could see.. gave me a headache.

Fair enough. Current headsets are not perfect but they are good enough to have a lot of fun and they are getting better.

Some early games I played did cause motion sickness but
good developers have learned a lot in terms of how to minimize that or eliminate it for most players.

'To the top' is one game that plays crazy with climbing and falling and fast jumps but seems to cause almost no discomfort for players prone to motion sickness.

Yes I bought the quest 2 knowing I would be dropping appreciable amounts on upgrades. Welcome to the club!

Another vote for The Room. Had a blast playing this one.

Yup; The Room was well worth the $$ for me. I am having more trouble getting by the Raptors in Jurassic World than with the puzzles of that game... oh well. May as well give it another try...

Recroom paintball will forever be the GOAT game on VR

That would be like saying pac man will be the best video game ever way back in the 80s. VR is awesome but it is still very young. I dig your enthusiasm though.

Yeah. It is pretty much a simple arcade game but the concept and soundtrack sold me on it.

I am not very good and maybe have played half the levels so far.

But was worth the money to me.

My VR mojo is still going strong. I bought a second Quest 2 to play with my daughter.

Walkabout mini golf, Cook-Out, Table tennis... lots of fun together!

And solo I have been enjoying some of the excercise apps. I put over 70 hours into Until You Fall with arm weights on (Not an excercise app but it was a fun way to get some). Arm weights on with Ragnarock and Beat Saber I have also sunk stupid time into over the year (20-30 mins a day adds up ).

Too many good games to play, not enough time really.

I finally tried Stride (which somehow encouraged me to have weird enough posture that my back started to hurt... so I am not sure about that one) and beat Red Matter and Yupitergrad over the Christmas break.

And Eleven Table Tennis is my new jam; I bought it on sale a week or two ago and thought "how good can this be" after hearing good things for years. I suck but it is fun, and the multiplayer is just too easy to have a good time (if you don't mind being humbled).

Quoted from ataritoday:

Heads up…. Star Wars pinball is half price in the Quest. And it’s a really cool way to play pinball. Two thumbs up.
Some other Star Wars items on sale as well. Vader immortal, and the other more recent one…. Vader was good. More of an interactive movie, but still really well done.

Yes, good heads up! I have not played my copy of the SW pinball on quest yet, but thought I should at least try to support them (during a prior sale). 1/2 Price is a cheap as that will likely get!
