    #31 10 years ago

Thanks Boogies. as far I know theres
no VP owners in my area. could have it shipped by
NAVL if you have one to sell down the road.. so far yours is
#1 and 2nd place is 85 Vett.. just my
opinion. also looking for some feedback
on the Guns N Roses table. is it pretty
close to the real one.? i have seen the
table but didnt look that great. I heard there
was a updated table out anyone seen or
    know anything about it. I have a G N R pinball
id be willing sell it if the VP Table is as close
    to the real deal..

theme Virtual Pinball. Anyone know where I could get the Rose
or Pistol from to use as the plunger? or any decals from the orginal
pinball.. thanks. Also interested in a Widebody cabinet based off
a STTNG pinball.. anyone have one to sell or can build? .. please

    #45 10 years ago

is there going to be a new version of Visual Pinball coming out? ha ha not sure what you all are talking about?
I have another dumb question to ask. whats the Difference in Future pinball and Visual pinball?? Thanks for the help..

    #113 10 years ago

Thanks for info.. appreciate it. Hope the next version of VP will be more user friendly haha

    #114 10 years ago

Arcade I have one more question to ask you. I was wondering why most people use Windows XP to run VP?
does it run better with XP? Iam in the process of building a virtual. would Windows 7 work as well or Use XP????
    Thanks again!!

    #118 10 years ago

Thanks Bub and Markmon. Was thinking on using a I7 processor is that overkill
or what is the optimum processor to run them smooth and no lagging?

    #120 10 years ago

Thanks again Arcade. Pinsiders are the nicest and most
helpful.. never get any help from any users on VP Forums....
any idea when the new VP program and DX 10
are coming out?? does anyone know if theres a updated Guns N Roses
table out or coming out.. thanks again

    #127 10 years ago

Thanks again to you all.. really appreciate all your
expertise. iam learning alot in a short time. How about
Force Feedback and having solenoids. is that
must for a true pinball experience? or is it just a luxury to have?
i wanna build a nice machine but dont wanna go over
budget. it will be a widebody with 46' screen

    #128 10 years ago

Anyone have any custom decals designed
for sale? to use on the virtual.. was thinking
the guns n roses decals or star trek next
generation. but would like something cool

    #138 10 years ago

hey boogies where on ebay did you find
force feedback? or do you know any sites to order from
    thats reasonable?? thanks

    #140 10 years ago

    Thanks ill check it out

Anyone know whats the best type of paint
to use on a VP Cab? going to have some custom
    decals done on it. thanks

    #156 9 years ago

thanks for the advice. iam using a new cabinet. the custom decals have
adhesive on them. was wondering what type of paint work best

    #160 9 years ago

Thanks Bub2010. Do you suggest painting the
cabinet by hand than spray painting? what gloss
of paint would you recommend? sorry for
all the questions. the decals are going
to be spendy and wanna do it right n not
have to reorder new ones haha

    #163 9 years ago

Thanks Shakenbake for the info. I"ll try
    that..

    #168 9 years ago

Looks Sweet! does yours have force feedback
and all the extra toys. does anyone sell a kit with force feedback thats easy
to install? would like to add it on mine. thanks

    #183 9 years ago

Thanks Bub for the info. it was helpful. It would be nice to see a fully loaded VP in person. but iam
not close to any pinball shows in my area. Theres a VP for sale on Craigslist Minneapolis for
$5000 with everything. seller says he has $8000 in it. iam in the process of getting one put together. but appreciate
your opinion on spending the extra money for the toys. What Sub and Speakers do you recommend. I would like to have a kick ass sound system. Also having a cabinet decals done by DFWARCADE(Hyperspin Site). He does excellent work if anyone needs decals. Thanks 85Vette for referring me..

    #202 9 years ago

Does anyone know any other websites that sell a Digital Plunger? I tried to order from Virtuapin but says they
are out of stock and on backorder and no idea when it will be available.. Thanks appreciate the help!

    #207 9 years ago

Thanks Bub is that plunger just as good
as Virtupin? Hey BTA what did you get for your VP if u dont mind
sharing? I was interested in it along time ago.if it would have had a 46"
in it. i would have bought it.. Iam putting together
a williams widebody. like to give big thanks
to MAMEMAN for posting the cabinet plans.. thanks
everyone on here for sharing your VP builds and
    info. its a great help

    #224 9 years ago

Thanks for all the Info ROO! I'll wait for the Virtuapin Plunger when they stock them. Anyone know what the ideal
tv to have for the playfield. I wanna try a 46" but heard that it makes the ball look huge and doesnt look right and really a pain to mount too. any help is a appreciated..

    #226 9 years ago

Thanks for sharing.. helps me out alot. Iam building off a williams widebody. specs based on a TZ pin. Would a 42 work.

anyone know whats the best speakers and sub

has anyone used PinballX for their front end?
just looking for opinions on which is better
the HyperPin or PinballX thanks for any help
    offered.

    #275 9 years ago

Thanks for the info NextoPin. I messed around
with hyperpin but seems kinda a pain trying
to set up a table. I get errors. so what your saying
is pinballx is user friendly? iam trying to figure out
the software for VP till my virtual is ready to go. how
about Future pinball tables are those in 3D?

    #278 9 years ago

thanks for all the info. the future pinball
    looks great

    5 months later
    #280 9 years ago

Hey all anything new in the virtual club? I have my virtual now.
just trying to decide which front end to use. hyperpin or pinball x?
does anyone if hyperpin will run great on a I7 with windows 7 64 bit
thanks for any info on this

    #283 9 years ago

Thanks!! ill go with Hyperpin. now just need
to figure out setting up the tables. been told
    its a #$@%& pain.

    #291 9 years ago

Thanks for your input. I like the hyperpin menu
but heard that pinball X is user friendly compared to
hyperpin for setting up tables. i tried messing around
with trying to learn the sortware to run tables
but just seems like alot of work. iam so so at computers
anyknow know any forums that give you step by step
to get tables to run for dummys like myself. I had my
VP Professionally built so i invested a lot into
it. it doesnt have force feedback or the extra
whistles. has real dmd. digital plunger working
coin door. has custom decals i had made for it. i collect pinballs but dont
have the room but every time i wanna play one
of my machines i have to haul them from storage
back and fourth. so having a simulator will be nice
to play the pinballs i own or the expensive ones
i couldnt afford . heres some pics of my custom decals i had madesecuredownload-39.jpegsecuredownload-39.jpegsecuredownload-42.jpegsecuredownload-42.jpegsecuredownload-30.jpegsecuredownload-30.jpeg

    #296 9 years ago

Thanks Dapperdan. i checked out some videos from their
    site. pretty impressive.

    #306 9 years ago

85vett thanks for info on vpUniverse. will
check it out. iam on vpforums. good to know
about another site. you any forums or anything
that has step by step instructions to set up hyper pin
and tables. i'd gladly pay for help or instructions
to get started. i have machine with no tables to play.
kinda like having a sports car with no gas to drive it
    ha ha.

    #314 9 years ago

Thanks so much 85Vett. greatly appreciate your
help. ill give it a try this weekend.

    #315 9 years ago

hey all just trying to get this software going
on my Virtual. just have a few questions. iam
using hyperpin front end. do i need to download
Hp media packs for each table? does that have
the table included? and do i need to download full
cabinet table? thanks appreciate any help

    #317 9 years ago

Thanks Arcade! so on the vp forums download
section. theres a sectionun vp cabinet tables. it says full screen
cabinet and full screen b2s cabinet. do i need to download
from both or just the full screen b2s cabinet??
    what are spanned cabinet tables??

    #320 9 years ago

Thanks for the info. is there any settings i need to
change for the display. when i view the table full screen
it seems like everything is to up close. the bumpers
    look flat. doesnt look right.

    #327 9 years ago

Thanks everyone.. ill check out vpforums. i get more
help here than i do on Vpforums

    #330 9 years ago

    #343 9 years ago

Thanks Markmon! thanks for pointing that out. what would
you suggest i could do to make it better? i didnt
build it. i notice when i have a table on it looks
close up and the bumpers look flat. thanks

    #346 9 years ago

Thanks do you have any pics or video on your virtual
    to see the difference?

    #348 9 years ago

Interesting.. mine was built by a pro. One of Best Virtual builders in my opinion. so what your saying is
the tv should be raised up all the way to the glass? I havent tried any tables out yet. still trying to
to set up the software and get it running. so if this is the case like you are saying that it wont
have a good look to a real pinball playfield. Guess ill sell it and have another one built. iam picky. didnt know
this would be a big factor

    #352 9 years ago

Thanks Boogies appreciate your input. this helps alot. I dont have an
opinion untill i get some tables running. i dont know
the physics on how the tv should be laying in the cab
along with everything else. this is why i had it professionally
done. it should look really good. i have top end componets.

    #358 9 years ago

MarkMon ill post a pic of my machine with
a table loaded on it. I also have pics of a machine
from guy i know that built his with the tv screen
up to the glass. i tried it out and I didnt like the screen up to the
glass. it didnt look right. unless his tv wasnt very good. I would like
to a pic of your setup please.. 602244_10151507830431551_481546834_n.jpg602244_10151507830431551_481546834_n.jpg553258_10151507830621551_2070537532_n.jpg553258_10151507830621551_2070537532_n.jpg406307_10151507829911551_1862495355_n-1.jpg406307_10151507829911551_1862495355_n-1.jpgsecuredownload-45.jpegsecuredownload-45.jpeg

THANKS 85Vette Well Said!. i feel alot
confident about my virtual. and also the builder
assured me the viewing angles are set perfect on my
cab.also i been told that alot of the VP tables were done
in 2d so that is some reason why they look flat.

    #375 9 years ago

okay I get that you dont like how my tv is mounted
in. it would be nice to see some pics of
your virtual to see what your talking about. when
your criticizing about my machine with a sunken
monitor. your insulting the guy that built my machine.
hes been at it for a number of years and is awesome
at what he does and knows how the tv should be
mounted in for perfect angles. check out vpuniverse. hes
    done quite a few cabs

    #392 9 years ago

Thanks 85Vett appreciate all your help and info.
iam over the tv mounting dispute. iam happy
with a sunken monitor. i just wanna get the
software going and enjoy some pinball. thanks to everyone
    else for sharing info too.

    #396 9 years ago

thanks for your input Bub. you have any
pics of your machine to check out please

anyone out there know where to find a set up guide or tutorial
for setting up Vp9 and tables and hyperpin on any forums on
vpforums or vpuniverse? i checked out the guide
on vpforums but thats just for setting up tables on one monitor.
would be nice if there was a step by step guide to follow to
to get one table running. didnt know that the setting up
the software would be this confusing. well anyway for
me it is. ha ha. thanks appreciate any help.

    #436 8 years ago

any of you played the original Stern AC/DC Table
for VP. do you what file to download on VpForums.

hey all. was wondering if anyone knows how to adjust ball setting in VP. seems like the ball looks big and theres shadowing around the ball as it moves around. and anyone know which Guns N Roses table is the best to download. my table looks flat. no depth any settings to change or is that how it looks. thanks

    #460 8 years ago

Thanks that table looks way better than mine. . iam running cabinet full screen. i think the table i have is 2011

    #467 8 years ago

anyone know if theres any settings in Visual pinball to tweak around with the ball. it seems to big. iam running a 46" LED tv. and for your color settings on your tv playfield what do you have your brightness and contrast set at?

    #472 8 years ago

Thanks for the Info 85Vett .. Tried out
your Tv settings.. alot better now

    #474 8 years ago

thanks for the info Boogies. so with the backglass
tv. do you wanna keep the same settings as your playfield tv?

    #476 8 years ago

thanks what is your color settings
    for the BackGlass Tv. mine
doesnt look that good.. but my tv
is LCD. so would your same settings work

    #477 8 years ago

guess my 32" tv for backglass is LED. my bad

    #478 8 years ago

was wondering if you have your backlight and contrast settings set higher on your tv for your backglasses? Thanks

    #497 8 years ago

Iam looking at installing a differnt tv in my
cab. anyone know whats good model to
buy? i have 46" led 3d. and whats the
best way it should be mounted in the
cab. mine is sunken in the back. dont like
the viewing angles isnt good. thanks

    #522 8 years ago

I dont mind the tv didnt know since its decased if can be adjusted. it looks like towards the back it slopes down. wheres yours looks straight on normal. ill post some pics. IMG_20150409_214322_245.jpgIMG_20150409_214322_245.jpgIMG_20150805_240648857.jpgIMG_20150805_240648857.jpg

fitted. i wanna get it done right

    #528 8 years ago

thanks for sharing the tips. anyone with pics to share. appreciate it.

    #529 8 years ago

possibly thinking on going down to
a 42" tv. looking for opinions who prefers
46" or 42". iam thinking that 46" is too
big. not much room to work inside of the
machine if need to. anyone know any forums
or any measurements on how the tv should be
leveled in the cab? thanks appreciate your help

    #531 8 years ago

Thanks so much for your input. hard to decide
what to go with. my 46 is in pretty tight only way
to get it out is to tear part of the cab apart. and
i have some parts to replace inside. also have a digital plunger but the shooter rod rubs against the tv. my tv is at a slant so not much adjustment can be done. dont like how the tv sits in front it doesnt look right. i had the machine built so this will be my first try putting a tv in. i have a williams wide body. you know where some threads on the forum how to mount the tv in for for a true playfield
look. i couldnt find any on there. thanks

    #536 8 years ago

Wow Looks Sweet. Bub2010 what tv size
you recommend for widebody cab? Can you
please share how it should be mounted. i
have launch button also. but might just pull out the plunger. dont have the clearence.
anyone use plexiglass over their backglass
tv? any effect with that?? Thanks

    #541 8 years ago

so Bub2010 that Star Wars you posted pics
of has a 32" tv for playfield? i have a widebody based a williams designed. looking for some input how the 46" should be mounted for a pinball playfield. or what tv size would be best for a true pinball playfield. and would mounting dimensions please? thanks

    #543 8 years ago

Thanks Bub. to me that tv looks bigger than
    32" in that star wars.

    #546 8 years ago

Bub Thanks appreciate the info. it fooled me.
looked alot bigger. now you really got me in a dillema. ha ha. now thinking i should go smaller. How about 42". the way my 46" sits in doesnt look right for viewing angles like a real pinball.

    #548 8 years ago

thanks for the info. very interesting. anyone
know if you should have your tv set to "game mode" in the tv settings? and any improvement running 2 video cards one for Backglass and other for playfield? thanks

    #550 8 years ago

Thanks soo much Bub. ill try game mode and
see if that makes a difference. i just have 2 tvs. and using a real dmd. i have a 3D 1080 Led tv for the playfield. dont know if having the 3d is making the tables not look right. now if were to go down to a 42" or smaller do the widebody games like Paragon,Genie etc look in wide form like the pinball game or be differnt size..

    #554 8 years ago

    Thanks again Bub..

    #558 8 years ago

How about running some of the stern tables like AC/DC and others to that caliber. would you need a faster processor? i have I7 3.5 ghz
and Geforce 760 GTX 2 gb graphics and 8gb of ram. i dont notice any smooth play with the tables i having running with my set up

    #560 8 years ago

Thanks appreciate the tips. Iam running
VP991 and PM5 as well. I have a odd question. not sure if this has any effect. i had someone let me download their tables to my system. which were all ready set up. just had to put the files to the folders. now if their computer is slower than mine.are those tables configured to that computer. so which wont run at high performance on mine??

    #563 8 years ago

Thanks Njgs96 i'll check out the settings
I do notice when i play a game when the ball
moves around the playfield theres like a shadowing on the following the ball
when it moves around. i havent looked
the settings in Vp. thanks for pointing that out. i dont notice the ball looks big compared

the front of the tv be?

    #575 8 years ago

Looking for help on getting the Real DMD to work on
Tables. Some tables it doesn't come on. Is there something
In the scripts that needs to be changed or added? to have it
Come on. And does anyone know how to remove the DMD on the
Backglass? I right click and select hidden on the DMD/grille and
Restart the table. But it still shows up? Thanks for any help

    #741 8 years ago

yep iam using a PinDmd dot matrix. when
i run a table. i have a dmd screen on the backglass and my PinDMD shows up. some
tables i run the dmd doesnt show up on my PinDmd. Addams Family is one of them. i using the Direct B2S backglasses. i can never get rid of the dmd on the backglass. i right click on the BG and it brings up a menu to
to disable which dmd you want but it never works when i select 'Hidden' and reset the table n reload. i can move the dmd screen around on the backglass but when i drag it to the side of the backglass then it shows up on the table. is there anything in Scripts you need
    to change? thanks

about back to the future. its kinda the same

Thank you soo much Fren for the great tables. appreciate your dedication. I cant imagine all the hrs you put into creating a table.

    #896 8 years ago

yeah seems to be stable on mine. i run both vp 9 and vp 10. havent had any issues. I install the updates as they come out for vp10. it might also depend on your computer set up. iam running a I7 processor and 16gigs of Ram. and a higher end graphics card. i put more money into the computer componets then instead of having the extra bells and whistles. I use windows 7. thinking about going to windows 10. I also unchecked the XP in the "Compatability" and runs just fine. I owe all my VP Software help to AllKnowing. In my opinion hes a wizard at the software

    #902 8 years ago

    #990 8 years ago

85Vett thanks so much. appreciate you taking the time to share your knowlege about this. I'll do some experimenting and see what looks good like you said. Now once you change something in the settings does it save it? or give you the option case you dont want it?

    #1011 8 years ago

I have the Dmd PinDMD2. would like to know
if anyone uses that or familiar how to run it. i would like to change the colors on the display. or how to run UltraDMD through it to have differnt colors. thanks

    #1054 8 years ago

Does anyone use a real DMD? I have PinDmd2 was wondering if anyone knows how to change differnt colors on it to display? what is best to use a real dmd or Computer monitor? i noticed on my dmd i have a few dots burned out.. thanks appreciate any help

    #1068 8 years ago

hey I have a odd question. I was wondering
when you download the older tables that have been redone for VP10. do you just use the backglass image from the table you used before or is there updated BG for to use with that table on VP 10. and also the Rom as well. thanks

    #1080 8 years ago

Thanks all for the info. appreciate it. yep iam running the B2S backglasses.

    #1096 8 years ago

I see Addams Family is on VPx. Anyone know
what the best backglass to get. the one i have doesnt look good. thanks. Future pinball looks
good you get the correct audio and the table
looks exact. only thing i didnt like is the scrolling of the table when you play. and theres images and stuff added on the table. couldnt figure out how to remove it. Kiss has a paul stanley image on the table that takes up some of the playfield. Thanks!! I like VP but seems like the software needs to be more easy for people like myself that are not computer geniuses. too much updating etc etc.. i just want to install and play ha ha. K ill stop complaining.

    #1101 8 years ago

Thanks Paulo hope you share out the back to the future and STNG Tables. which Addams family backglass do you use?

    #1109 8 years ago

Thanks soo much Pudluther and Paulo. appreciate the links. I have bam installed i noticed a big improvement with FP. i installed FP about 6 months ago. has there been any updates to install? i have a problem when i load up a table to play. i still have the windows
start bar on the bottom? any ideas how to get rid of it. Thanks. and how turn off the cameras where you just have the table full screen. and how to get the backglass full screen. FP is easy to install tables. appreciate your help!

    #1123 8 years ago

Thanks PudLuther and Paulo . I would like your instructions on setting up Future Pinball and Bam. Has there been a new version of future pb out? I would like to know how you get rid of images that were added to the tables. on the Kiss table theres a few images on table it covers part of the table. and how you make the backglass full screen. Appreciate the help.

Pudluther is that table future pinball? Iam having the same exact problem with all my VP10 Tables. they all look like desktop tables. is this a scripting issue? do i need to update files in VpinMame? thanks appreciate any help. my pm5 and vp992 tables look fine. just all vp10 tables dont look full screen cabinet.

    #1141 8 years ago

Thanks everyone for your lnput. Thanks for
the screenshot Pudluther. thats a big help..
Do you need Ambient occlusion enabled?
what is that? Also FXAA do you need any one
of those enabled? Or the ball rendering?
    Thanks again

    #1144 8 years ago

Cool thanks for the info. I havent tried changing anything in the settings i just play the tables how it is. but curious about the other settings. i wanna have the tables running at the highest optimum level..

    #1148 8 years ago

Thanks Markmon and Pudluther. vp10 tables
back to normal. Mattfl do i check mark all 4
boxes for the fxaa? or just one. do you use ball
rendering? and how the boxes under performance and trouble shooting? any of those boxes to use? i have a GeForce GTX
760 4GB video card. is that enough to run
    these tables smokin? anyone have
the VP10 table Addams Family? It looks like
a desktop table when i run it. but i have the Rotate for cabinet usage box checked.. thanks
    all.. appreciate the help.

    #1151 8 years ago

MameMaster do you have any video to share of it in action.? Looks awesome.. thanks

    #1152 8 years ago

Anyone know if theres a Rom for the Bally Kiss Table that plays the exact sound as the original Kiss Pinball? i like the future pinball version for that reason. but would like it for VP.. Thanks

    #1163 8 years ago

Thanks Looks Sweet! Would like to know if anyone downloaded the VP10 Addams Family table? mine doesnt load full screen and cabinet style. it looks like desktop size. any solution to changing to full screen cabinet? and is there a way on old Bally tables to change the sounds on the roms? i know older bally machines you could change the tones on the cpu with the switches. would like to get the Bally Kiss table with the actual sounds from the original. the future pinball table plays the actual sounds but not the VP version. I like the wha wha wha sound

    #1165 8 years ago

Thanks Pudluther appreciate the help. I'll
try it out. you know anything about my other question on the Kiss Rom?

    #1167 8 years ago

    Thanks. it was worth asking..

    #1177 8 years ago

anyone try out the Kiss Table for Vp10? any good? what other tables came out for VP10 pudluther?

    #1192 8 years ago

Pudluther I still couldnt get VP10 Addams family to rotate to full screen cabinet. i did that BackDrop settings and entered everything you had on there. Any other ideas? thanks appreciate your help.

    #1195 8 years ago

Thanks BorgDog. Yep I have the Box checked for cabinet mode in the video options. But it still loads sideways and small. I have no clue what to do. I suck at running VP ha ha. Thanks for your help.

    #1201 8 years ago

Thanks BorgDog and Pudluther. ill take a look at the backdrop settings again. on the "backdrop" settings with the 2 sets of numbers
what is DT and FS is that desktop and full screen? BorgDog those numbers you listed for
Addams family do i enter those under the FS colum in the Backdrop. PudLuther I changed all the numbers with your back drop image you posted awhile back. i rebooted the computer to and got the same result. thanks again

    #1205 8 years ago

    Thanks BorgDog. Appreciate your help!
    I'll give it a shot

    #1207 8 years ago

BorgDog sorry to bother you again.was wondering in the Video Options in settings on VP10 theres some boxes to check for Enable
Fast FXAA or Extreme FXAA or 4X AntiAlising. do i need to check one of those boxes?Do i need to have ball rendering? then in the video option settings theres another area "Performance and Troubleshooting" theres 4 boxes to check or uncheck. do you know if i need anything checked in there? and do i need ambient Occlusion On? thanks so much

    #1209 8 years ago

Thanks soo much for all the info BorgDog.
Greatly Appreciated. my video card is the
NVidia GeForce 760 GTX 4gb. you heard anything on that card? so you said in performance and trouble shooting that no boxes should be checked? one table i loaded has the Force Anistropic texturing filtering Checked on. uncheck that then.. thanks sorry for bothering you. its just kinda confusing.

Thanks again BorgDog for your help and info. Addams Family is working
Now. Looks great on Vp10. Even sound quality is good. Was wondering if you
Have a screen shot of your Settings in the "Video" to share just curious what you have set on yours. Thanks

    #1220 8 years ago

Thanks Again BDog . Is" Enable Extreme FXAA"
highest setting or do you check mark Fast and Quality FXAA. iam confused about that
since you can check every box. Do you know
what 4x AntiAliasing is for? I noticed on the 3D stereo output I checked "use Y Axis for 3D" and the sound quality was better. So on Performance and Trouble shooting you said to leave everything blank dont check anything? iam trying to go off your settings. but since your card is differnt than mine. probally wont get the best result.. thanks again

    #1222 8 years ago

Thanks appreciate your help. Its starting to make more sense now. i"ll just have to try differnt settings out like you said.. Thanks again!

    #1224 8 years ago

Hey BDog was wondering if you mess around with Future Pinball tables? I could use your help on that too please. I have it installed with Bam . but the only problem i have is trying to figure out how to get the Backglass full screen and how to remove Images off the playfield. The bally Kiss Table has a few images on the playfield thats in the way on the playfield. appreciate your help. I owe you something ..

    #1226 8 years ago

Cool Thanks for the update on the Kiss Table. iam hoping theres a newer rom for it that has the actual original sound. thats what i liked about the kiss on future pinball it has the exact sound. Sure! next time you come by this way message me. maybe by then ill have my Guns N Roses and few other pins moved in the basement and have a pinball party. i have a buddy that lives in Spokane

    #1245 8 years ago

Found this hope this helps Chosen_S
Anyone seen anything on the Stern Kiss??
    Thanks

    #1253 8 years ago

once you go Virtual you wont go back. ha ha i dont have shakers or the extra toys. it feels real for me with a good sound system. in my opinion.. Keep your G N R. or sell it when Axel and Slash get back together to do some shows should increase the value of your machine. I couldnt part with my G N R

    #1255 8 years ago

its awesome for me to play any pinball game i havent ever got to play in the arcade. plus here in North Dakota. in my area there is no more Arcades. video games and pinball do not exist.
unless i wanna take a 7 hr drive to minneapolis. miss the old arcades

    #1260 8 years ago

Right On Njgsx96. I didnt know how to build one or nor did I want to try to build one. I sold a few pins and invested $6000 for mine. after looking inside the cabinet and seeing all the wiring and mounting the screens and computer . all the precise measuring. Not for me. yeah the cost is up there if you want a decent professional looking machine. I thought it was alot of money. but well worth it when you consider buying 1 new pinball game that can cost about $6,000 to $7,000 and with a VPin you can play hundreds of tables. since i had my machine i havent even played any of my real pins. I wish I would have known about VPCabs .They are super awesome . after seeing their website and the positive feedback from owners they seem outstanding and stand by what they sell. if and when i buy another VP it would be from them.

    #1291 8 years ago

Has anyone tried out the Kiss Table for VP10? did it look right? mine seems like the Flipper are huge. and anyone play the Flinstones Table for Vp9.1 can you run it on vp9.2? can hardly hear the sound on it. and had a question about tvs. would the 4k tvs work good for virtual. i notice they have come down in price.. thanks everyone

    #1308 8 years ago

is there anyway to get the original Rom sound for the Bally Kiss Table? The Future Pinball table has the orginal sound. has anyone tried the VP10 Kiss Table? does it look right for you? flippers look huge on mine..Thanks

    #1310 8 years ago

Cool thanks appreciate your info. Yes the VP Kiss table has the orginal start up tune. but during game play it has the chiming not the orginal sound as the kiss pinball. The Future table is exact since the guy recorded it like you said. anyway would be nice to have the original sound on vp since on future pinball i cant get the game full caninet and it has images on the playfield. Thanks for the flipper adjustments. will change it..

    #1311 8 years ago

heres a Vid of the real kiss pin..

    #1320 8 years ago

Thanks BDog Appreciate your help.. ill try it out.

    1 week later
    #1325 8 years ago

wouldnt you need a faster cpu and video card to run the top games like the stern tables like Star Trek and Ac/Dc and Metallica . etc..

    #1328 8 years ago

Thanks Markmon for your input. so basically i over spent on computer hardware then i run a I7 processor. How about using Windows 10 any issues with VP? was thinking on updating to windows 10.. thanks

    #1330 8 years ago

    Thanks soo much Njgsx96 Appreciate
your advice. Very Helpful. I have the 760 GTX
graphics card. with a I7 and 16GB or ram but
i notice lag on my machine but i need to
get rid of crap running in the background
    thanks for pointing that out

    #1335 8 years ago

Thanks Markmon apprecoate the info on the tv. For the Playfield i have a 46" Samsung LED
3D tv with a 240 refresh rate. i run my tv in Game Mode. i get better colors of the tables in Game Mode. what tv do you recommend for better picture and play?? thanks

    #1339 8 years ago

    46" LED TV SAMSUNG | UN46FH6030FXZA R
Njgsx96 here's the model # for my TV. I wasn't able to find any info
About it. appreciate it if you could find out some info for me about
    This TV. Thanks

    #1343 8 years ago

Njgsx Thanks for so much for the info. greatly appreciated. so what your saying is my tv isnt much good for pinball? do you know any good 46" models out there? I suppose it might be hard to find one that will fit my cab. i have a widebody based off a Williams cab.

    #1347 8 years ago

Thanks Again for all the Tv info. I would like to get a better tv. but seems like 46" is kinda becoming obsolete. thats the downside of having a widebody. I do notice alot of flipper lag and when i play a table. i dont get a fast smooth play. seems like the ball moves a little slower. i always thought it was a graphics card issue or pc hardware. i do have a fast system so that shouldnt be a problem. makes sense with the tv issues you mentioned. these commercial displays you mentioned . is there a 46" available in that? Thanks!!

    #1349 8 years ago

Thanks Markmon do they make those in 46" and whats the price on those?

    #1350 8 years ago

Found this presentation display. pretty reasonable .would this work good? Your right Markmon the presentation monitors are way out of my price range. $2 to $3k and up. thanks

    #1356 8 years ago

Thanks Njgsx for checking out that monitor. Would it perform better than the tv i have now?

    #1360 8 years ago

I saw something on about Color Dmd screens for pinballs. Colordmd.com is releasing some for differnt machines. Guns N Roses was released but sold out. hoping to get one for mine. Was wondering if these Dmd screens could be used on Virtual pinball. That would be awesome..Thanks to you all for any feedback

    #1366 8 years ago

    Thanks Luvthatapex2 and Coyote for
your info. I have the PinDmd2 display for
my virtual. Coyote do you know how to
change colors for the display? i know
it supports differnt colors but havent
been able to figure it out. thanks appreciate any help.

    #1368 8 years ago

    #1372 8 years ago

I have a Pin2Dmd Markmon. mine does colors but no clue how to change the colors or colorize them? thanks appreciate any help

    #1375 8 years ago

You bring up a good point. But my DMD does color if I knew how to use it.
I am looking for a answer like Boogies is. I have the PinDmd v2. Boogies has the latest version. Whats a good monitor to buy Markmon and what size? Any additional hardware needed to run it? might go with that setup. Thanks!

    #1377 8 years ago

Thanks Markmon. I"ll look into that. Iam running one video card for everything. Will using the video card running the monitor would that cause any slow down running games?

    #1379 8 years ago

    thanks. i have a GeForce GTX760

    #1383 8 years ago

Cool Vids Fren Thanks! is there a Pin2dmd one for Guns N Roses?
