Hello. I have a question regarding the ball release feature on a Stern Viper. Scenario: a ball or two are locked for multiball and ball three drains prior to getting a multiball. Is it a normal feature that those balls remain locked at the beginning of the next game or should they all release prior to the start of the next game? I have read the manual and can't seem to find anything that I could change to allow those locked balls to drain prior to starting a new game. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

Doesn't look like it. I assume it walks them out when you power up with balls in there when it's looking for balls.

When you start the new game with balls in there does it start multiball right away on a lock or does it make you relock them, releasing one at a time for a relock until you get all you need locked?

You'd think I'd remember this but it's been 12+ years since I had one.
