The sound of Pink Floyd, Moody Blues, or The Grateful Dead?

After moving recently, I am getting around to setting up my vintage stereo system in my downstairs game room. When testing the turntable, the left side speaker output doesn’t work even when I switch the speaker that wire goes to. I also tried switching the feed from the main (A) output to the remote (B) and had the same results. The amplifier is a Sherwood s-702 CP that I purchased brand new in 1980. Any suggestions on the source of the problem?

    Thanks Larry

It’s a dead left signal from the TT. Fuses are good.

I have the exact same Sherwood receiver also purchased by me new back in the day. I always wanted a reel to reel to go with my system. Tomorrow, I will try to remember to get a picture of the whole set-up.

I have both the Sherwood amp and receiver that I bought brand new in about 1980. I remember the CP on at least one of them and still have the receipt and factory performance spec sheet.

The amp is a Sherwood S-702 CP.
