Was just handed a Sansui SR 5090 Turntable from 1978. Needs a little TLC. Works, needs some cords changed out, and new stylus but had the original manual with schematic. A nice break from pinball work, time listen to some vinyl

    Quoted from ToucanF16:

I doubt the Radio Shack cartridge is original. I’d double check what stylus to get. Do you already have a receiver and speakers? 70s audio equipment is great! I grew up on that stuff! Enjoy!
I doubt the Radio Shack cartridge is original. I’d double check what stylus to get. That cartridge looks like a Realistic R9000E LWS. This stylus should work in that cartridge. https://www.turntableneedles.com/radio-shack-realistic-cartridge-r9000e-lws-stylus-767-ded-rshac-r9000e-lws

I have to go back to the house to see what other audio equipment is there, I just unpacked the turntable to take pics. I will consult a few other websites as well for information. Thank you for the feedback and information.

    Quoted from Jason43:

Won the world's most neglected Sansui on GW auctions last night. Should be an interesting project. I think there's a nice amp under there somewhere.
