I rebuilt all my flippers and they're much better but, try as I might, I just cant get the coil locked in really tight. I took Vid's suggestion to get a bar clamp but that didn't work for me. The coil bracket just bends back away from the coil after I release the clamp. Am I doing something wrong? Should I dremel the bracket screw holes so I can place the bracket more flush with coil?

Sometimes you have to bend them back in a vise.
They are all new coil brackets and they looked at right angles but I'll check again. Actually when I had the clamp on them I could see that they were bending past 90* towards the coil.

No. All Williams solid state.

I would like to do this as well. I replaced all of my CBW's parts including using the shorter System 1 coil stops but I still don't get that Williams flipper feel. Help us vid1900, you're our only hope.
