Flip it around. Butt end to the stop.

You don't need 50V flippers to make it up the ramp. Either rebuild yours or upgrade to these @ pinball life:

Full Flipper Assembly For Williams/Bally Machines From 02/1992 To 10/1998
a-15205-r-2_a-15205-l-2
Options:
Choose A Base Plate : Left
Choose A Coil : SFL-19-400/30-750
Choose a Coil Stop : A-12111 (+1%)
Choose An EOS Switch : 03-7811 Normally Closed EOS (+5%)

I've done this with my system 7 machines when needed and they are near perfect. My BK hits the left ramp from a trap with no problems. And it only takes 5 minutes to install. Can't imagine the hacks you'd need for 50V.

All the flippers at pinburgh are setup shallow. The machines are intentionally set up difficult so don’t compare your machines to them.

#2119 5 years ago

Thicker coil stops do the trick too.

An even easier thing to do is to setup the flippers flatter, or pointing down more. That would make them act like they don’t have the same range and you probably wouldn’t notice they were lower in that environment.

Are you sure your EOS wires are connected to the correct lugs on the upper flipper? Compare the pics of your right and upper right flippers in post 2248. The EOS wires are not arranged the same.

In your lower right & left flippers, EOS is connected to center lug and the grey wire - the ground side.
In the upper right, EOS is connected to center and brown wire - the power side.

You asked about the arrangement post 2238, but did not switch your wires to account for your coil being constructed differently (flipped) than in vids pic.

#2267 5 years ago

The upper and lower should look the same. They are not.

Move the outside EOS wire to the other outside lug. Leave the power and ground where they are.

I always rebuild both at the same time. You will likely see a difference after you play for a while and it'll always be in the back of your mind.

However you don't need to change the coil unless it is bad. That should save you about an hour of soldering time.

I'd stick with the official BOP gap, the guide has too many different models to be accurate on everything.

Quoted from Junglist:

On my Deadpool (Spike2)

I'd post this as a separate thread, as most of the conversation here is on older SS machines not modern ones. There are a couple of threads out there already including someone that was putting together fan assemblies to reduce the temp.

Search for Pinmonk or - https://pinmonk.com/collections/tmnt-stern/products/tibetan-breeze-2-flipper-coil-cooling-kit

BTW, I had the same issue with my BKSOR Premium not making it up the center ramp after extended play. I think this is an issue with a number of Spike machines.

#2505 3 years ago

I don’t think your issue will be the EOS stack, but the size of the new base bracket. It is much larger than the 2 piece setup on that machine.

I would wait in confirmation from someone who has tried it before ordering parts. I can also take measurements if you need.

They may be out of stock right now, but they are not discontinued or anything. PL doesn't show OOS items in the search results.
Try Marcos if you need it right now.

I have a box of old flipper parts just in case something is out of stock or shipping takes too long.

I generally buy plunger/links, coil stops, EOS, sleeves, and bushings in bulk its much cheaper than buying kits.

Make sure the link has the metal insert washer in it. I've changed out many loose plungers that were metal on plastic. These are also something to have on hand because they are easy to drop when installing.
