Did your unmixed clear ever freeze? You will have problems if it has.

Got all new pf inserts glued into an Air Aces pf for a pin I'm restoring for a friend using the info I've gotten from this thread. Just wanted to say thanks Vid.
It will be getting shipped off to HSA this week to get the art work fixed. It's a little more art work repair than I would feel comfortable doing on someone else's pf. Thanks again Vid Mike
Quoted from La_Porta:So you’re saying on my firepower restate, the balls are
Going to get stuck?
Yes if they are going slow they will get caught on the lower edge of the slot. I take a small round file if necessary and knock that edge down when redoing pf's.Those on your pf were done at the factory. Mike
Quoted from La_Porta:Vid, can you shine in on my options for the roll-over lanes? Will this be a huge problem? What are my options realistically on a just refinished play field?
I actually learned this one the hard way. I had recleared my CPR F2K pf before installing it and didn't notice that the lower edge of the upper switch slot in the ball walker was level with the pf. I got the game all together and was playing it and getting everything adjusted and just about every time a ball entered the walker it would get stuck on that slot. I took a small round file and filed the edge down slightly and carefully brushed some clear where I had filed. It works great now and it's next to impossible to see where the fresh clear is. Mike
Quoted from vid1900:Both my laptop and desktop run Win10 64bit and both have no problem using the HP4670
For instance in Photoshop, FILE>IMPORT>WIA DEVICES>HP4670 and scan away.
+1
Quoted from pinheadpierre:Hard to tell from a picture, but it looks like it’s not sanded dead flat yet. I’m reading cloudy areas as higher than the areas that look more clear in the inserts.
+1 it's not sanded flat yet. You just started to knock off the high spots.
Quoted from ArcadeAficionado:I searched through this topic but I wasn't sure which repair would be most applicable for the rough scrape seen at the bottom of this "build lock" insert, so I have some questions:
1. What likely caused the scrape?
2. What's the proper way to repair it? If it's difficult, then is there something that's easy to drip into the scrape to make the playfield smooth there (and won't make it harder for someone to properly fix later)?

That is from the insert moving and the clear cracking because of it.
Quoted from Enochsmoken:Does this plastic part fit into the pop bumper hole? The hole is too small, I gently filed it a little but still won't fit in. Help please. Thanks

Yes it needs to fit in the hole.
