Quoted from 2RustyBalls:

A guide would imply Vid is going to show us how to do a playfield restoration. Snap a picture of a playfield does nothing. Why not show how you've sanded, repaired, repainted and cleared coated? Where are all the playfields you've done with before and afters like HEP? Starting to wonder...

Wow, I hope this is sarcasm. I guess you can't please everybody. Vid has spent a significant amount of his own time on here providing helpful tips and tricks and this is your response?

Quoted from 2RustyBalls:

How do you know who to send you playfield to for restoration? Some guy claiming he can do the work or someone that has a verifiable background? I have a playfield that needs restoration work and don't want it to disappear like the one that Bill Davis took in for restoration, a lot of guys never got them back.

This thread isn't about advertising a PF restoration business. It's about providing useful tips and advice so others can do it at home if they so choose.

Did I miss a post where Vid is asking for business or saying you should send your PF's to him?

Hi Vid,

I purchased an NOS cleared DM PF a few weeks ago. It had been in storage, and upon closer inspection I noticed my the freeze inserts had started to raise. Is there anyway to fix these without having to send the PF out to be re-cleared?

This was professionally cleared. Many thanks for your input.
