Hi,

Newbie to restoring playfields. I have this on a number of the inserts on my Star Trek Next Gen table. Is there anything I can do without taking the playfield to pieces to restore?

I can get new insert decals, i'm just not keen on having to replace the entire inserts.....is this possible at all?

No its slightly below on the right-hand side having been worn away.

What would I need to use to 'fill' it to be flush with the playfield before applying a new decal?

Sorry total newbie - 'level the entire playfield' - what do you mean by this....just fill the hole with 2 part auto clear and level it off with the playfield - and then use the new decal?

Thats great - understand.

I take it use gloss and not matt 2 part clear? Would I need to do any polishing/sanding on top after.

Thanks for the great advice!!

If I want to use new insert decals on some of the inserts on the playfield (some are worn or half gone!), what is the best way of peeling off the current remains of the decal off the playfield?
