Quoted from splattii:

I went through all the key topic posts/links and didn't see anything about the following unless I missed it. I have a playfield where maybe 1" x .25" strip of wood, near an insert but also perfectly down the middle of the playfield has raised into a tent like pattern. I think this is from water damage as the playfield had a lot of natural debris (dirt, plant remains) stuck to it, including bark from being in a barn for 30+ years. When I press down I can see it will get better but obviously the second I lift my finger it raises again. What's the best way to attack this? I could sand it down to be level and then re-paint it but that's obviously not ideal by any means. I was wondering if I could inject a resin or glue via syringe and then use clamps in hope the wood sticks closer together? Any idea if this would work, and if so, what kind of product I should be looking for to inject into the wood?

Well lit, focused, pictures needed!
