Great thread. My friend and I have rebuilt bumpers on several machines based on these. One thing I've noticed though that all of our machines Earthshaker, F-14 (2), and Space Stations (2) had the scoring switch on the same side of the yoke as the solenoid switch - whereas your picture shows the solenoid on on side and the scoring on the other. (see photo) In theory, I think this will work either way - in your photo, the longer leaf is pulled down by the yoke to make contact. If they are on the same side, the tension of the leaf allows it to make contact. it's just funny that on our 5 machines, they all were adjusted on the same side. Is this just a difference because we have all late 80's Williams machines?

We just left them like that except my F-14. And on that. I have had problems with the fish tape and the longer leaf of the scoring switch getting caught on the yoke and getting bent (or flipping all the way over). As a result, I have to position the switch in such a way that the apron pin is no longer centered in the spoon so that that doesn't happen. I'm thinking of switching the position back to be on the same side as a result. Does it matter?
