Here's a video clip of an "udderly" ridiculous custom cowbell topper on my home-grown Whoa Nellie. I'm still ruminating about illumination options. My game is an electromechanical Continental Cafe conversion with a vintage Gottlieb chime unit. Consequently, the cowbell, coupled with the chimes, creates an unusual combination of sounds.
The video clip clarity is good on the Whizbang Facebook page as follows:
Alternatively, the clip can be viewed on Youtube at this link:
I conducted the filming one-handed. My apologies for the limitations in creating a one-handed video clip.
There's something about the kinetic aspect of the clanking cowbell that seems to fit well with the electromechanical pulse of this game. The more I play WNBJM, the more I like it. I have to get those score reels modified this summer. Continental Cafe, the donor game, is a two-player game whereas Whoa Nellie is a single player game.
Note that the Whizbang backglass here is more provocative than its Stern counterpart. Anyone able to identify the differences between the two backglasses?
