I've had success using a method I haven't seen posted before. Drop dead foam not required. I made a spacer out of plexiglass, about 1/4 " thick, which goes between the bracket and the playfield. Then the bracket gets bent down slightly. The hole insert stays the same and does not need to be lowered. I tried a lot of things before I installed the upper pf, and this was the best solution for me. Sorry, no pics. But it's easy to do, and on this machine, the shot hardly ever rejects.
