Vendor Introduction and Hakko Group Buy

Just in case everyone doesn't know, the 888D has a digital temp readout, preset temps and digital calibration. Definitely worth it for a few dollars more.

It will. I made sure of that before starting the thread. Everyone will know tomorrow. Hakko has rules regarding published prices. I just don't want to say anything more and jeopardize the deal. If I could do it again, I would have just waited until Monday to start it. I really had no expectation quite this many people would be interested.

I'm more interested in the 808 to tell you the truth. The $15 Radio Shack iron is almost good enough, however de-soldering is another story.
