Anyone able to fit a pin in an ev6 or ioniq 5 (without taking the head off)? The dimensions online make vertical clearance with bb folded down very tight (if not just shy due to the rearward sloping roof line).

Anyone fit stern spike 2 in a > 2019 Santa Fe (specifically 2022)?
The narrowest dimension is 30.5" - really opens up beyond that.
I'm too lazy to get into the lineup and fold down a Stern to measure. Alien LV is on the end so easy to get to and measures at 29.25" - the inferior portion of their backbox design is 1" narrower than Stern's (and Stern's cabinet height is about .125" shorter than PB Alien) - it seems like it (stern spike 2) would just fit.
Also, a quick search in this thread doesn't show any results for the newer body style of 2019 and on. posts online about fitting a 32" tall box in the back, no way that would fit.
Quoted from ectobar:Anyone try to get a pin in a Mach E Mustang yet?
779mm is a little more than 30-5/8"
But that isn't the opening of the tailgate, it is certainly smaller.
I went to the dealers with laser and tape. None of these electric vehicles (Mach e, Ioniq 5, EV6) can fit a pin with backbox folded down.
Quoted from NicoVolta:Chrysler Pacifica fits, bigtime. Being a minivan, of course, it obviously should.
I drove the hybrid 2022 version. It's the best minivan in the world (for now). Just fantastic all-round. Pricey though.
Sure wish I could get all that in an SUV package for a comparable price. Maybe 2024 will have a hybrid Palisade...
Ioniq 6 is coming as is the Kia equivalent (ev7?) - so mid-size SUV in all electric platform that should fit a modern pin head folded.
The Sportage 2023 hybrid should fit a pin - narrowest I measured was 31.5"
Quoted from WildRover:Just another public service announcement I used to have a 2016 Mazda CX5 like this and pins fit perfectly!
I just recently bought a 2022 Mazda CX-5 and they shrunk the vertical dimensions by 1" so modern Sterns DO NOT FIT 2022 MAZDA CX-5s. I learned that the hard way after a 6 drive so pass it along
What is the usable height now?
Quoted from newovad:This is a 2022 Bronco Sport Outer Banks. Based my model machine off of Police Force (System 11). It is probably slightly bigger than the actual machine. With a heavy machine, it’s going to be more work but should fit snugly. The only issue will be the way the seats angle up as you approach the front row. NIB does NOT fit.

Snug
Quoted from whoknowsgoi:2023 Kia Sportage? anyone know if these work for spike sterns
I think I measured that one at 31.5" - it was the XSP model but I think they are all the same.
