Newbie in process of restoring a 1969 Gottlieb Airport Pinball.

Both VariTargets are dead. They neither score when pushed back, nor reset and go back to the normal position.

There is no voltage thru leads on the left side of arc.

Looking for a place to start. Everything else seems to be working with the exception of the wonky light sockets!!!

Is there a separate fuse for the VariTarget feature?

Thanks for your response. But, I am a it overwhelmed on where to start the physical testing and what am I looking for? Don't know where to place the Alligator clips and what am I looking for. Also, have a Multi-meter if that will help.

Don't understand the relationship and timing of the switch at the left side/top of the arc, the scoring positions on the VariTarget, and the reset coil. Is there some timing/sequencing that needs to occur?

Also, on the VariTarget there appears to be three switches, and a Total of 4 Relays, VariTarget Score control relay(J)(think this controls whether the Varitarget is in regular score or bonus scoring mode, Right and Left Score Relay (B and F), and the Reset relay (D), and Motor 2B?

Perhaps this is over the skill level for a newbie, but am willing to learn and experiment.

Thanks for help. Needed to call in a local resource and after cleaning and adjusting both the Varitargets and associated relays, everything is working well.
