Any clear coat will be hazy when sanded. Even wet sanded with 2000 or 3000 grit. It has to be high speed buffed and polished to get the shine back.

Since you are clearing again there is no need for the high speed buffing. But I would still use 1500 or 2000 to get all the deeper sand marks out before the next coat.
