There is a ceramic capacitor on an Allied Leisure PCB that I wanted to double check since this is a very early solid state board that might not adhere to expected conventions.

It looks like it has ".01M 16v" printed on the front and "Y5F" on the back.

The schmatics do not not note the unit of measurement and I haven't see a cap measured in Mf before on a PCB. The other ceramic caps appear to be measured in uF.

Is the .01mF cap supposed to be 1uF?

Ok, so it's .01uF 16v 20% tolerance?

Ok, thanks for the confirmation. Also, in studying the other boards some more, everything appears to be in uF unless otherwise marked. The credit board had one 100 pF cap--that seemed to be the only major difference so far, and the only one that was marked with a differenet unit prefix.

Additionally, I found out that around the 1960s and 1970s, MFD or mF was used instead of uF, which might be where the "M" came from that I found on the capacitor.
