So very hard to define a keeper. I feel like it's hard to really look down the road and know. I've had games that I lusted after, got, swore they would never leave and they have come and gone. But, that said, I often wind up doing restorations and get upside-down in them. Or I will overpay for a game based on my desire for it. It's part of the hobby I guess. I had a ratty TAFG a few years back. Swore it would never leave, and I did a no-holds-barred resto on it. New gold, restored playfield, even down to new one-way screws for the plaque and getting a repro certificate for it. I wound up selling it. I think I broke even if I don't take into account my time on it.
