Thinking of selling one of these. I am the original owner of both. Both are in great shape.
SM is 2009/10 limited run with the black webbed teardrop armor.
XMLE is Wolverine edition.
Mods aside, what is the going rate these days? I ask because there aren't many out there for sale right now to draw info from.

IMHO

HUO SM 5000-6500 it's a proven SR classic
XMLE 4800-5800

Just my opinion on the market
results may vary

Some really like x-men...
For me, I really wanted to like x-men, but it turned out to not be my cup of tea.

I have both and agree, except upper limit on XMLE with no mods $5400

#4 7 years ago

$5200 for SM and $5200 for Xmen. Give or take.

No way the X-Men is worth the same as the SM, LE or not.

Quoted from pinnyheadhead:

$5200 for SM and $5200 for Xmen. Give or take.

Unmodded HUO SM's sit at 5K and sell for anything less. So $4950 for SM and $4700-4800 for XM for a pretty easy sell, I think. I don't like to sit on things once I've made my mind up for an extra $100. That's 2% of the entire deal.

5k each give or take 200 bucks.

Thank you. Both are well modded.
I actually would rather sell the SM before the XM as I play the XM more. It is just that I know SM will be a long game and I rarely have time for that.

Makes sense. What is the black webbed tear drop armor you speak of?

I don't have a pic of it right now. These few (about 100 I understand) from this run came from the factory with the standard Stern lollipop side armor which was CNCd to look like spider webs. Not as nice as the Steve Ritchie versions but better than the plain ones.

I sold a nice, original SM with a crap ton of mods for $5500 a few months ago. I think it would have been $6k+ 1-2 years ago, but the release of the Vault Edition seems to have softened the market for the original as $6k+ now gets you a brand new and better looking SM.

I think your pins are each worth around $5000-$5500, depening on mods.

Im picking up a 1 owner HUO SM that has beeen sitting in the same spot since 2007. The guys a friend and when he says low plays he means it . Most likely less than 300 with zero wear . Because of the ride I am picking up for 5k which I think if a very fair price because I know its flawless.

Any chance you are coming to TPF and would be interested in a trade for a restored BOP 2.0? If so, I may be interested in a 2 for 1 with cash your way or a trade for the X-men with cash my way. Shipping would kill things but if we were both going then we could swap there if a deal was made.

I am planning to drive to TPF. However, I owned a BOP before. I know 2.0 brings more to it, but not having played one, I am not sure it is enough to make me want to keep it.

I can appreciate that. If you change your mind between now and then let me know. Not actively looking to sell so I shoukd srill have it. Those are two games I've been interested in so I figured I'd reach out.

In the last 18 months -

I purchased a HUO 2008 Spiderman with Cliffys, standard rails (no webs) and around 350 plays in perfect shape for 5K.

I purchased an HUO Magneto with Color DMD and Cliffys installed for 4.8K. The game showed less than 50 plays and I believe it.

Put them both for sale for $5600 and see what you get for offers. If you get no offers, move the price down.

#19 7 years ago

I sold both and have bought SM twice

SM seems to be $5000

XMLE seems to be $4800

Both plus minus a hundred

sent you a PM

#21 7 years ago

5k x 2. Give or take a few hundred for mods or lack of.

M curious what a TWD pro goes for?

It's really a shame how XMLE lost $1800 like that.

I don't expect games to stay at the original price but XMLE took a dive.
