I just picked up some polished chrome parts for my LOTR resto including ramp flaps and pop bumper ring & rods and they look great.
Turn around in 2 weeks. I have only used them for polished chrome at this point but so far so good.
If you are in the Bay Area you might want to give these guys a look.

Does anyone else have experience with this shop?

I just got my wireforms (habitrails) back from Pinball Plating. They brass plated them and they are beautiful. For beauty and durability plating is a great approach. There is a lot of powder coating going on for habitrails as well and if my RRWOZ is any indication that appears to be durable as well.
