I've put my money down for a Pre game. Who else is in on this game? What version did you buy, and why? For me, it's a combination of theme, designers and options. I really like the Pre package, and after watching the live twitch feed of the Pro and LE gameplay, I think I made a good choice for me. I really love the dragon art on the LE but I couldn't justify the added price. If the Canadian dollar was stronger I might have jumped on board with a LE purchase. This will be my first NIB game, and I hope I have it for Christmas.
I think this game will become heavily modded, post here if you've found anything cool. (I'm not getting the topper, don't have the headroom.)
I have 2 questions about the new Spike system in stern games.
1) can gi or insert led's be dimmed?
2) is it possible that the spike system can simultaneously encode video to lcd and dmd screens? It's not out of the realm of possible with modern computing power, I just wonder if stern has the fore sight to include that feature. IF the spike system can encode both signals from the same file, then it's possible that all Spike games might be upgradable to full colour Lcd in the future.
I'm sure the video mode will be improved with future code releases. There's just to many complaints about the current quality of animations. (And since video modes are so contested in pinball, I think they will try to improve this)
