Get some camping gear and go to canyonlands, Utah. You don’t really need a four wheel drive to enjoy it. Spent a forth of July weekend there once and didn’t run across anyone.

I've been everywhere Man, I've been everywhere. Theres no place like home. A day trip to rent a couple hours at Roanoke Pinball Museum would be a vacation to me, maybe a day trip to the Coast to pick up a machine.
Not going too far right now, never know what kinda hoo doo going on outside NC.
Used to seek out the most remote, rural areas I could to escape. I'm borderline stir crazy but my area is rural enough for now.

Odin, how far are you from Joshua Tree? Always wanted to go there after reading about Graham Parsons. When I get back to California that Park will be my first stop.

Pure genius! Instead of digging graves, they just need to relaunch The Queen Mary.

Scratch that. Let's go with this instead.

I have done a few drives across country and up and down from here to Washington.

One of the prettiest sights I have ever seen and this pic doesn't really do it justice, was passing thru the Lake Shasta area under a full moon while heading north. Something to really behold.

As of yesterday, I have decided it is now safe to visit every continent in the world. Without ever setting foot on an airplane.
