    Hi Guys,

I have blacklight / UV reactive carpet and yet to set up any blacklight in my room for the effect. I see you can get UV LED lighting in some of those under cab lighting kits.

I would really like to get some glow happening in my room and thought that putting these under my games would be nice and discreet however unsure whether you really need blacklight fluoroscent tubes to have any effect.

Is anyone using UV LEDs for their under cab lighting? Do the UV LEDs have any effect on UV reactive carpet?

Thanks for any thoughts or comments.

UV LEDs should work. Something under 415nm; but I'd aim for 390ish.
That's way most of those "pee detectors" use.

Do we want to know why you know this? LOL

I have specific uv led strips, the kind that they use to test watermarks. You could give it a try if you want.

Lots of things work on UV reactive carpet, you would be surprised. This video will give you an idea. It is just one of my interactive undercab kits. I have done a few other things for this UV reactive carpet. A 7 color slow fade also does a nice job reacting changing and moving the designs on the carpet.

Thanks for all of the comments. The interactive kit looks amazing and has a great effect on the blacklight carpet.

Most importantly for me however, I am after a UV glow under all of my machines when they are just turned on (attract mode) to give atmosphere and some lighting to my game room.

It looks like the Pinball Pro kits are constantly lit and not interactive which would probably suit my needs best.

I'd love both but I'm guessing there's no kits that are interactive and are lit in attract mode?
