Hey, has anybody used UV protection window film like this stuff?

I'd like to prevent fading as much as possible and stumbled across this film.
I have a huge glass block window in my basement and I'm curious if this stuff would stick to it or not, or If I should even bother trying.
    Any thoughts?

I think you could get the whole window coated in one piece

But, yes. UV causes fade. Florescent lights create UV light too FYI

I'm curious too, I know how bad UV is on the colors, every piece of artwork I have framed I use UV Filtering museum glass but I wonder how we could even test if the film is filtering out the UV?

UV window films can filter at least 99% of UV rays and it's great for protecting your goods from fading! Have a look at Guardian Window Films

UV Window Film reduces ultraviolet rays transmission to a maximum of 0.5% up to 380 nanometers and an average of 1% in the range from 300 nanometers to 400 nanometers.

Have a professional do the install.

I have window film on every window in my place. No fade anywhere and my electric bill in the summer got reduced by 2/3.

pinster68 (here on pinside) ran a test with one of the more expensive UV films a few years ago and the results weren't very good (red construction paper; control piece inside a pinball machine cabinet, one piece near a window lined with the uv film, and a 3rd piece near a window with normal glass). the differences between the UV film and regular glass were noticable but both were extremely faded compared to the control paper

I actually line the windows of my "game room" with this:
