I built my son’s last 4 Halloween costumes extensively with LEDs included. Last year it was an anime show he likes, so I made him these flip up “fire” and “ice” fireball things that he could flip up with a flick of the wrist Onto his palm and they would light.(BRIGHT)
I’m also in a rock band so have come up with extensive reasons to include LED lighting.

I have tended towards 12V bulbs because it is FAR easier to find power for them, which doesn’t need to be adjusted. There are easy to find 12V batteries and rechargeable power packs out there That will light a whole array of things. The packs put out 3A which is plenty to handle a bunch of LEDs, and I don’t have to fool with resistors.
