Quoted from Snux:So far so good. CN4 is the speaker connector. When you use a P-ROC, the computer you run everything thing on generates the sound, so there isn't somewhere on the P-ROC to connect this. Eventually you might want to hook up the sound output of your controlling PC to this connector, but for the moment you can leave it disconnected.
I think CN8 is a typo in the P-ROC doc. CN8 is the DMD display connector, so it should go to P-ROC J3. The doc says P-ROC J3 should have the Whitestar J2 but I don't think you have a J2 that would fit that. Let me ask Gerry to confirm.
The docs indicate j2 on whitestar is aux out so that is possibly an error. I thought that sterns of this vintage have the display code on the display controller board (with game specific display roms) so I'm a bit confused about what the correct connection would be.
I would think you would leave that CN8 disconnected as you will bypass the display controller board altogether and connect the proc J3 to DMD board P2.
That is, I *think* proc J3 replaces display controller board connector CN1 to drive the dmd directly.
