I'm thinking of lighting my pumpkin this year with LEDs, powered by a 4-AA battery holder. I'm sure this has been done before by someone in here. Who's done it, and what's the longevity of AA batteries when used to power say a dozen LEDs? I'm hoping they can last a few hours at least.

use battery powered flicker flame candles. Cheap and looks cool. Leds will last a long time. The candles, prolly a couple days if left on 24 hrs a day.
