I have a game that is a US model but i live in the UK, i have the frequency issue sorted but am unsure if these newer games have an autoswitching power supply meaning i can just plug them into a 240v supply, i remember the older SAM had a small plug under the playfield that needed to be changed from 110v to 220/240v but this game does not have that and i am afraid to switch it on in case i blow the crap out of it.
    Any advice appreciated.

Didn't think Stern would be interested because they don't like their US games in another country, i have the question on Pinballinfo and i did get a good few replies, bunch of decent guys (and gals) on that forum...thanks for the replies, i appreciate it...took a chance, turned it on and run...but it works..yeahhhh...lovin it at the minute and hoping Stern will release more code.

No they won't as it's done to prevent grey imports. Games being much cheaper in the US (depending on the exchange rate) are cheaper to import than to buy locally. I did this with Nascar and saved over £500.

I have heard of them helping out (for instance) service personnel who take their games abroad and was told by a source that there is a key combination to turn this from US to Europe (but can't substansiate that). maybe someone need to disassemble the OS...
