Jersey Jack, 2019Has anyone looked at the possibility of upgrading the USB Camera on JJP pins? I'm looking for a "better" part number 15-115034-00. Their stock camera seems to be 1MP at 720P which takes ghastly pictures. I'd love to get something that actually took decent pictures. Even if I was able to get a new one, I'm wondering if it would have support in the underlying Ubuntu kernel. Has anyone done any work on this?
Its just a USB camera. I'd think any USB camera would work, unless it required goofy non-standard drivers.
Not sure if it would work as it's possible that whatever programming is in place for the pictures being applied is intended for a certain resolution and file size. Would probably be worth a shot to try, worse case it doesn't work.
