In my case this is not a new problem since the covid bs started. Been seeing packages damaged/lost from both ups and fed-ex over the last 20 years. They all introduced package tracking to help delay the bitching from us the consumer. Of the big 3 shippers Ups,Fed-ex and USPS in my case they all have screwed up more then once but by far ups seems to have masted the art of package losing and destruction. I even have had packages left on front porch with an address in North Carolina by ups more then once. Missouri is not even a neighboring state so i have to wonder how this happens name on package, street address and house number don't even match in any way but they got here. I drove down to ups store front left boxes on counter and said i think you system is broke and walked out.
Now in last year my USPS mail ends up in a mail box 4 doors down from me or 3 doors up just varies as neighbors we just walk down and put the mail in the right place. Have even seen mail bundle for whole circle street left at one house. Got a bunch of retires that live on street so they take turns calling and bitching. last week my outgoing mail was left in rain on lawn 6 doors down. Mail comes anytime of day and it varies. they are on cable company service time. Fed-ex has run a fork lift or two through boxes or over them but didn't seem worried when delivered to me about contents mind you they weighed just 15 pounds and not on a pallet. Guess the this side up sticker and fragile stickers or just hearsay. They also have a funny map some how between California and Missouri Canada is the next logical stop. I just love the absolutely perfect boxes not a scuff on them but some how contents hit shredder 1st. Used to just piss me off to no end at day job.
