I’m by no means a fan of UPS—I’ve had many, many run ins with them over the years. But to clarify some of the current challenges with shipping, the biggest problem I know of is the extreme drop in consumer air travel. Quite a bit of freight travels on these flights, and I know the shipping windows at work have doubled in the past month. They can’t rely on the normal air routes bc so many flights are being canceled or rescheduled. Instead we have to book cargo flights—more $$ and longer lead times.
