Upper right flipper on my Addams is strong, but flickers when you try to hold it out. I did a rebuild kit on it, and same issue. I also looked at the lower right flipper's EOS switch, and when I manually hold it down, it still flickers.

Thinking it must be a power interrupt somewhere, but am struggling to find it. Have done the basic checking of connections in the back box.

Any help on common places to look would be appreciated!

If there are no obviously broken wires, reflow the solder. If that doesn't do it, replace the coil.

Take a look at the right flipper button switch on cabinet too. I believe most of the TAF's had leaf switches. You didn't replace those recently did you? I ask because I had an odd issue months after replacing them and had the wrong ones in there and apparently this is pretty common. Otherwise you may just need to check and clean those contacts if they are leafs or clean the optos if that is what is in there.

Earlier machines have the leaf switches, later machines have the optos.

Interesting. Yes, I did just rebuild those flippers a few months ago. I am going to reflow the solder tonight, clean the contacts, and maybe try swapping one of them out. I'll report back.

TAF has leaf blade. TAFG has optos.

Dig around the thin wire going from coil to coil lug. Easy to have a crack or break you can't see.
