No Fear: Dangerous Sports
Williams, 1995I am curious. My no fear lower right flipper works no matter how lightly the button is pushed. The upper right flipper won’t activate if it’s a light tap, but works if fully depress the button. Is this how opto flippers work or do I have an issue with the opto or fliptronics. This is the only game I have with this type of flipper
It’s usually a dual switch for the flipper. This is so you can cradle a ball and not have the upper flipper block your shot.
The cabinet switch is just a thin circuit board that moves back and forth. I assume that’s that opto

That is not an opto, it's a dual opto. how far the button is pushed determines if one or both optos change state.
