of course my experience is moreso zizzle oriented (whee?) anyhowz, got decent results from just swapping in lighter duty flipper solenoid return springs. not HUGE gain but plenty for making the ramps with a little better speed. if the new coils are too darn strong you might be able to tone them down a little with some low value high wattage resistors.. like a pair of 20w 1-ohm in parallel for 1/2 ohm and 40w capacity, or 3 for 1/3 ohm? might be "hackish" or it might work really well.
