I have two Rheem Hybrid 80 gal. They are in my garages in my Florida home. As a nice bonus they dischargecool air when they heat the water. Therefore they have the benefit of slightly cooling my garage. They work ok and are relatively energy efficient but their software is buggy and Rheem isn’t much help. They’ve rokaced them once and gave me a new control board. Yet they occasionally tell me they’re leaking or having a compressor issue when they’re not. I basically clear the error and ignore it. I’m guessing it’s a software bug and not hardware related. Probably save your money and just go with a traditional gas or electric. You’ll be happier in the long run.
