The TDA2030 is obsolete. The LM1875T is very slightly better and still made.
I would be extremely wary of 50 cent versions on ebay. The only way they can price them that far below cost is if they're stolen, used, counterfeit or a combination of these issues.
The TDA2030 is in current production by dozens of Chinese semi factories. Cheap, cheerful and does the job well for us. At a buy price direct from the factory in lots of 1000pcs it's about $0.15 - pretty hard to beat that. You will find it in just about every low power car amp sold including the ones used by Spooky.
(clarifyer: I haven't seen inside the Spooky amp but it looks identical to the 300 clone car amps made here so it's a safe bet it will use TDA2030's)
